Observant Global’s Scheduling Application helps you apply water when it’s needed. Operating your valves and pumps remotely allows you to optimize your water usage and save money on labor costs while having the peace of mind that you will be alerted immediately if anything goes wrong.
Applications
The Observant Irrigation Scheduling Application has been used in many different ways including:
Pivot Irrigation
Drip and Sprinkler Irrigation
Flood Irrigation
Stock Water Management

Map Based Application
Observant Global offers a simple to use, map-based application that allows you to set and monitor irrigation events from your desktop.
Time Based Scheduling
Set your pumps and/or valves to operate at a set time and be alerted if anything goes wrong during the schedule. Duplicate the schedule if it is a recurring irrigation event.
Protect Your Pump
Set overlaps between your valve open times to ensure safe pressures can be maintained throughout the irrigation and your pump can run continuously.
Solution Combination
Combine with flow and line pressure monitoring to record the volume of water used in an irrigation schedule.
Handling Faults
Our web based irrigation scheduler will manage any faults by skipping the failing valve and moving right to the next one, ensuring the pump can stay running for the whole time.
Gary Wight— Irrigation Management
Gary Wight used to spend 2 - 3 days a week irrigating his land, a lot of the work occurring through the night and requiring him to be on hand at all hours to ensure irrigation events occurred as planned. Employing extra labor to assist in irrigation could not be justified, as labour costs outweighed the returns gained over the season. The alternative, was to invest in farm automation technology, that would reduce labor costs, send 24/7 alerts to Gary and provide peace of mind by logging into an app on his mobile to check on his system.
““Now, that we’ve got an automated system that runs all the night it means I don’t have to get up, weekends I’ve got free and even structurally if I’ve got a meeting on...
...I can go, knowing that it’s going to operate on its own in the background.”
