Observant Global is a platform you can rely on for remote management and control of your farm equipment. It can be accessed from any internet-connected mobile device, tablet or computer, so you can monitor the condition of your pasture and livestock wherever you may be. Observant Global also gives you the ability to remotely control systems from any location, as well as automate irrigation with map-based scheduling to ensure that your crops, pasture, vines or vegetables get the right amount of water at the right time.
Monitor In-field Conditions
Monitor the data that is being collected by all of your in-field equipment in one place. Easily view everything that is going on across your property, whether it be images at a trough, water levels at a dam, or the state of pumps operating out in the field.
The Monitor page displays the data in “cards” from which you can set up the alerts that you would like to receive, view the data in different date ranges, and export the data for farm reports.
Stay Alerted
Receive alerts via SMS and email that relate to what is going on out in the field. Receiving alerts can help you to save time and act quickly on situations that occur, such as a tank reaching low or high water levels, a flow meter registering an irregularly high amount of flow for the day, or even a rain gauge recording a high amount of rainfall in a short amount of time.
Setting up your alerts is made easy in Observant Global. Access the Alert page from your phone, tablet, or desktop and select which phone number and email address you want alerts to be sent to. You can also receive a daily summary that details all the active alerts that are yet to be resolved.
Remotely Control and Automate
The Schedule page in Observant Global allows you to schedule and execute irrigation events through your phone, tablet, or desktop. The map-based interface makes it easy for you to set up your irrigation schedules and monitor them as they progress. Pause, resume and repeat schedules so that you stay in control of your water use and operations.
You can schedule pumps or valves in the field to start at a specific time or on-demand at any time. Each item in a schedule is colour-coded so that you can easily assess which item has finished, which is currently running and which is yet to start.
Manage Your Equipment
Easily add new equipment before heading out to install it in the field, and give each site and device a name that makes it easy for you to understand.
After installation, keep an eye on the health of your Observant system. A simple green light, red light system helps indicate whether field units and devices are online. If a field unit or device drops offline, you are provided with simple troubleshooting steps and a direct link to call our support team.
Invite Others
All you need to invite a new user to your Observant Global account is their name and email address. The user will be sent an email that provides them with a link to create an account.
You have control over what access level new users are granted; ranging from restricted access where they can only view the data in your account, all the way up to admin access where they can manage all aspects of the portfolio.
Map-Based Overview
Get a quick overview of your farm’s status on an intuitive map-based interface, with the ability to drill in on individual sites as needed.
Useful for agronomists or farm workers preparing to go out to check field conditions at a specific location or as a quick introduction when onboarding new team members.
